February's Message

Welcome Brethren and Friends!

This year is proving to be very busy indeed. We ushered in the New Year with our traditional New Year’s Morning Reception which was very well attended. Guest Speaker Junior Grand Warden Robert Strader gave a very informative presentation on youth groups and leadership. We have had several visitations as well as capturing the Traveling Gavel from our brothers from George Washington 1776 lodge. We have several brothers trying for the Traveling Apron award. Coming up on Friday the 10th at 5 PM we have a Friends and Family event at the Great Lakes Distillery. It will be a tour with some sampling, visit our website www.henrylpalmer301.org click on Palmer Events and then Great Lakes Distillery Tour there should also be information posted here in the Templegram. While I poke fun at the sampling the tour is very informative on the processes by which our alcohol choices are derived. Speaking of processes yours truly will be a guest speaker at Oconomowoc-Hartland lodge speaking on food and processes of Freemasonry on Wednesday March 15th it would be nice to have some Palmer support at this event. We held our first stated meeting for the new year and the Ladies of Palmer enjoyed a wine tasting and frivolity while we attended to lodge business. As our core officers grow in their duties it is also incumbent upon our existing members to come down to the lodge and make sure we are meeting your expectations. I request the presence of all our standing members who can make it to come down and assist us. We sure could use your insight! Call me if you need a ride to lodge after all we are Brothers.

If you are not receiving my emails about the lodge happenings send me your email so that I can get you updated, email me at wm@henrylplamer301.org. We will possibly be doing a Master Mason degree this month or perhaps in early March.  Remember we have informal get togethers to practice ritual and posting applications every Monday at 7 aside from our regular stated meetings.
Our hope is to travel to more lodges throughout the month of February. Keep in touch with myself, Bros. Mike and Robert to know of our agenda it would be great for Palmer to show up in a large contingent and support our brothers at the other lodges.

In Wisdom, Strength, and Beauty
